Requirements

• Open to Cruising Jackson members only.

• Must be a CJ member before July 1, 2024. 

Rules

• Open to all Door Cars/Pickup Trucks ONLY.

• No Double Entries.

• No Throttle Stops.

• Transbrake permitted.

• Pro .500 Tree.

• All times & speeds will be posted on finish line boards (No Exceptions) in the spirit of Cruising Jackson.

• Entry Fee for this race is $100 winner take all. (Plus gate fee)

Race

• Chip draw before each round. #1 runs #2, #3 runs #4 and so on.

• Bye Run will be decided by the best reaction time for the previous round. First round bye if needed will be decided on the first chip draw. Odd man out, gets the bye. (First Round Only)

• Driver’s Lane will be included on the chip when drawing for position.

• THE CJ TWIST. If 2 Driver’s draw each other and want to run Flat-Out, they must both confirm to Racemaster after Chip draws. Winner determined by who crosses the finish line first.

• Courtesy Staging

• Crossing the centerline is automatic disqualification.

 

Breakout Rules

• Contestants who race below the 5.70 Index during eliminations are disqualified, with the following exceptions: 

• THE CJ TWIST.  If both drivers agree to run flat out, the driver crossing the finish line first is the winner.

• When an opponent foul starts or crosses a boundary line. 

• On a single run. 

• When both drivers run under their index, the driver who is the least under is the winner. 

• If two contestants run under by the same margin (with elapsed times extended to a thousandth of a second), the driver crossing the finish line first is the winner.
